Stake.us is a sweepstakes casino launched in 2022 and run by Sweepsteaks Limited, a Cyprus company (reg. HE436222). You play with Gold Coins (GC) for fun and Sweeps Coins, which Stake calls Stake Cash, that can be redeemed for prizes. The site combines Stake Originals, slots, live dealer tables and its own poker room in one account.
It suits players who want social poker and casino-style games under one login, and who are comfortable with crypto-focused payments. It suits players less well if they want a low, clearly published redemption minimum or live in one of the many excluded states. 21+. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Not available in all states.

What we liked
Large no-purchase signup offer, reported by third parties as 250,000 GC + 25 SC
Poker and casino-style games in one account, which is rare among sweepstakes casinos
Busy promotions calendar: daily GC races, weekly SC draws, challenges and poker jackpots
Responsible play tools include breaks from 24 hours to 3 months and indefinite self-exclusion
What to know
Not available in many states, and the terms have added excluded states in versions 9 to 18 (2025-2026)
Third parties report a 3x playthrough on Stake Cash, while most sweepstakes casinos ask for 1x
The redemption minimum and coin purchase methods are not published in the material we reviewed, and third-party figures conflict
Faces state cease-and-desist letters and several lawsuits (see reputation notes)
Welcome offer and daily bonuses
Stake.us does not ask for a purchase to get started. RotoWire, GamingToday and RG.org report a signup offer of 250,000 GC + 25 SC once your account is verified. We could not confirm this figure in operator material, so treat it as third-party reported.
The catch is the playthrough. Those same sources report a 3x playthrough on Stake Cash before it can be redeemed. Most sweepstakes casinos ask for 1x, so you need to play your coins through three times as often here.
The daily login bonus is 10,000 GC + 1 SC. GamingToday says it runs for the first 30 days. Saturday Down South and Bonus.com report there is no first-purchase offer, and a welcome pack is not published. No promo code is published either.

The promotions calendar is busy. There are daily GC races, weekly SC draws, challenges and poker jackpots. Two weekly slot promotions, Weekly Wrapped and RNG Rush, each split 50,000 SC or 500,000,000 GC. If you are new to the coin system, read how sweepstakes casinos work first.
Games
The game mix is wide for a sweepstakes casino. Sections include:
Slots
Stake Originals, built in-house
Live dealer games, such as Grand Bonus Baccarat with a listed RTP of 98.11%
Burst games and feature spins
Table games
Scratch cards
Stake Poker
Providers named in the material include ICONIC21, Donut Gaming and Coreffect Interactive. A full provider list is not published in what we reviewed.
Stake Poker
Poker is the main reason to pick Stake.us. Few sweepstakes casinos offer a poker room alongside casino-style games. Stake Poker has ring games and tournaments, plus several fast formats:
Next! fast-fold tables
JAQKpot! 3-Max hyper-turbo
All in or Fold tables
A Bad Beat Jackpot
The Stake Showdown poker series advertises a SC100k prize pool, with satellite entry from SC0.50. That gives low-budget players a route into bigger events.
Redemptions and payment methods
This is the weakest area. Stake.us does not publish a redemption minimum in the material we reviewed, and third-party figures conflict:
Deadspin: 5 SC
Bonus.com: 25 SC
Saturday Down South and Strafe: about 40-50 SC, depending on the crypto
HighStakesGuide: 100 SC
Redemption speed is not published. Coin purchase methods are not published in operator material either. Strafe and Bonus.com describe payments as crypto, including BTC, ETH, USDT and SOL. HighStakesGuide mentions ACH bank transfer for redemptions, but the operator has not confirmed this. Check the cashier and the official terms before you buy coins or plan a redemption.
Where it is open
Stake.us is 21+ and not available in many states. A cached copy of the operator's own terms names these excluded states: WA, NY, NV, ID, KY, MI, VT, IN and ME.
That list is likely out of date. The terms added excluded states across versions 9 to 18 in 2025 and 2026. Current third-party lists from next.io and Bonus.com also name AZ, CA, CT, DE, IL, LA, MD, MT, NJ, PA, RI, TN and WV. Sweepsy reported Stake.us pulling out of NJ, PA, WV, DE and RI. Read the live terms before signing up, and see our guide to where sweepstakes casinos are legal.
Support and trust
Support runs 24/7 through live chat, with email at support@stake.us. Responsible play tools include breaks from 24 hours to 3 months and indefinite self-exclusion. More on setting limits is in our responsible gaming guide.
Stake.us faces regulatory and legal pressure. Covers reported a cease-and-desist from the Arizona Department of Gaming in June 2025. The Illinois Gaming Board issued a cease-and-desist, in a letter dated February 2026, demanding Stake.us block Illinois residents. The LA City Attorney sued Stake.us in September 2025. The GamblingHarm.org lawsuit tracker lists consumer suits from 2025 in CA, IL, AL, SC and MN. We found no awards.
Verdict
We score Stake.us 6.6 out of 10. It earns points for a large no-purchase signup offer (third-party reported), a deep game mix with a real poker room, frequent SC promotions and 24/7 live chat. It loses points for the reported 3x playthrough, an unpublished and disputed redemption minimum, crypto-focused purchases, a long and growing excluded-state list, and active regulatory and legal action. Pick it for poker and Stake Originals if you live in an eligible state and accept those trade-offs. See how we rate for our method.
21+. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Not available in all states. Rankings are editorial and operators cannot buy a rank. We earn a commission on signups.
